Stitching Die of the Month “Nested Stitched Burst” + Sentimental Greetings Clear Stamp

Today I’m sharing cards made with the Spellbinders Jan. 2023 Stitching Die of the Month and Sentimental Greetings Clear Stamp.
The Stitching Die Club is a new addition to Spellbinders’ club kit this month. This stitching die is a club kit that I really like because it can be used in a variety of ways. This club consists of a total of five dies. In addition, there is a coordinating stamp set that is perfect for the Stitching Die Club, so it is even better when used together.
Let’s see my card designs!
I made two cards in gold and silver colors.
The bottom layer is a dry embossed stitch die on white watercolor paper. Watercolor paper has the texture of paper and is thicker than regular paper, so I often use it for dry embossing. I made two star-shaped die-cuts for stitching. and one was cut into four pieces. The four cut pieces were placed at each of the four corners. Then, using the die inside the star shape, I cut 2 pieces of gold-colored paper, and this one die-cut was also cut into 4 pieces and placed on each of the four corners. And after die-cutting it in the shape of a circle in the middle, I stamped it and gave it a gold heat emboss. The stitch used DMC’s gold-colored thread.
The silver card below was also made in the same way as the gold color card above.
The recently released Stitch Die Club Kit comes highly recommended. There are many different ways to make stitches, each in your own style. And when I’m stitching, my worries disappear because I’m focused, so it’s good for relieving stress.
